Seriously, my children are the greatest! We were at my parents last night for family dinner, Ephraim, my mom and I were investigating a plant on the table when I found a dead cricket. I showed it to Ephraim, he looked at it and said in a sad, sad voice, "oh poor head cricket"...I of course wanted to eat him up right there!

Superman!
(archived from December 5, 2007)
So today was a little stressful for me...Ezra is getting in some new teeth and was only content with the world if he was nursing...well, he didn't even need to be nursing just hanging out on my boob...sorry breast. I had a lot to do and was motivated to do it, but it didn't get done and you know that feeling you get at the end of the day when you haven't accomplished a whole lot...thats the feeling I have. *Blahzeh* Klayton worked later tonight too and we didn't even eat dinner until 8. He noticed that I was feeling crummy and that the boys were starting to attack my personal bubble (which normally isn't there with my kids unless I had a hard day). He came into the office a few minutes ago, took the boys out and shut the door. He is my Super Hero! Even just a few minute of silence and no one touching me can really help. G-d surly has blessed me with a lot of patients, but some days I feel overwhelmed...it is odd though, I don't feel this way until just before Klay gets home. This can be confusing to him because he was just talking to me on the phone and I seemed to be really high spirited and then he gets home and I am...well, low?
I read an article last week on Shabbat and what each part of the meal means. It talked about how traditionally it is the woman who lights the Shabbat candles because she is the light of the home...the essence of the house and her mood sets the tone for all that enter her house. What a huge responsibility, but sooo true!
Hashem, give me the strength to push though the hard times and create a home of peace and pleasure for my family.
I think I will copy that article and put it somewhere I can see it...

Hold On...The Fun Has Just Begun!
(archived from December 5, 2007)
Well, I realized that I love writing! Love it! But I don't take the time to do it... So I am trying to change and hope that it is a stress reliever for me...here's for hoping! :) Also I would love to keep a better "journal" of my adventures as a mommy, wife, friend, and business owner.
Right now there is so much going on and Ephraim is "drumming" on everything trying to get my attention... Time to play. More to come.
I have some funny stories I really need to write down before I forget them so...Hold On...The Fun Has Just Begun!
